Industry Weapon Introduces “Real Content Management” for Cisco Digital Media Suite (DMS) Customers!

Digital signage content managers are faced with the daily task of keeping their content fresh. Back in 2009, we developed an app called GlobalCast to help relieve some of these efforts. GlobalCast is an attribute-based tagging system that matches campaigns assigned with a specific keyword to digital media players containing the same keyword.

In a nutshell, GlobalCast is a simple way to mass distribute and manage campaigns across a wide variety of networks, properties and facilities. While still highly effective and easy to use, GlobalCast was only an initial step into digital content management for Industry Weapon’s digital media clients. 

We now bring you the next evolution in simple digital signage content creation - CommandCenterHD’s Real Content Management system!

Real Content Management introduces a level of flexibility not yet seen by Digital Signage users. With real content management, CommandCenterHD customers take advantage of a management system powered by “anchors”. Anchors can be assigned to any space on your slide and are associated with keywords. Whenever new media is added to CommandCenterHD and assigned with the appropriate keywords (whether uploaded manually or fed by a dynamic data source) your campaign anchor points will automatically change on your display!

How easy is it to use? Simply select from one of our pre-configured templates or upload your own, assign your content anchors, apply your keywords and you’re finished. When new media is uploaded or fed to CommandCenterHD, the content on your slides changes automatically.
